From start to finish, this 400 square meter dream house was completed in 6 months. The client’s of this build knew exactly what they wanted before selecting their finishes, which made the process of building this house an absolute dream. 

On the ground floor, the kitchen is functional, and open plan with the dining room, entrance, and a small coffee nook area. A screen wall separates the tv room from the dining room. a spare guest room with en-suite bathroom is neatly tucked away, providing guests their own space. A cleverly deigned gym, bathroom and second spare bedroom can actually double up as a flat-let with it’s own entrance and kitchenette, or remain as the homeowners gym, and second bedroom. The garage was built wider and deeper than normal. This was done to accommodate the client’s numerous bicycles, workbench, as well as space for the home automation equipment. 

The first floor is the homeowners dream space. A large balcony with jacuzzi provides the client with their own private relaxation space. A large landing overlooking the front entrance provides the client with their own study. The main bedroom, designed to be completely self sufficient includes a work area for a home study. The large bedroom is separated from a private lounge with a double sided fireplace, and serviced with a small kitchenette. A full en suite bathroom is supported with a large walk in closet.

Major contributors

 Eurofit Kitchens  was employed to provide the kitchen, vanities and built in cupboards. RLWA proudly provided the Aluminium doors, windows, as well as the internal timber doors. 

Sustainability was a large part of this dream home, and Green Leaf Alternate Solutions provided the solar geysers, the solar backup power, as well as an integrated home automation system which includes lighting, audio, visual, as well as alarm control. 

Pools and Landscape by nature provided a magnificent landscape element, with Madikwe Stone Company complimenting the house with their natural stone cladding.
