In 2014, Ivecon was approached to construct an amazing barn-style home within Waterfall Country Lifestyle Village in Midrand. The home was also built on 3 levels, within the limited space of the Waterfall stands. The home incorporated 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, suited for the family. In addition, the home boasts a privately built guest bedroom and bathroom wing, which also functions as a home office. The home also overlooked the magnificent Jukskei river, which flows through the Waterfall Estate, and the landscape elements needed to marry the design of the house to the surroundings. A large open plan loft space above the garage allows for children to express themselves freely. Finally, large pocket doors disappear into the walls, allowing the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge to become one with the Waterfall elements.
As you wander across the pool deck, you are left feeling as if you are out in the bush. As a result, dining under the pergola, surrounded by the trees and sound of water, turns the home into a bush-getaway. The home was completed in 2015
As with every project, unique features and special requests will lead us to explore our library of preferred and recommended suppliers. With this project, the kitchen was a major feature to the home. With this in mind, we contracted Eurofit Kitchens to supply the kitchen, vanities and built in cupboards. Lighting Logistics provided the perfect solution for the light fittings. They also provided the layout. The landscape is a major feature to the home, and needed to compliment the beautiful Waterfall greenbelt. Therefore we contracted Landscapes by Nature to provide this solution. In addition, the pool, being a functional feature of this family home was completed by Sandton Pools. The beautiful teak deck was supplied and installed by RLWA. And finally, a magnificent pergola, was designed and installed by Able Gates.
