This unique style Waterfall home was built in 2014.  Large open spaces and high volume ceilings and exposed trusses was the focus. Bringing in the natural light was key to the design, whilst maintaining the intimacy and privacy required by any homeowner.  The design and chosen finishes makes the home the perfect entertainers dream. An open plan kitchen and dining space opens up onto a magnificent deck, which in turn, leads through a spectacular intimate garden. You almost forget that the house is built on one of the smallest stands within the Waterfall estate. The property is located near the Waterfall Village dam, providing a picturesque view. 

Our client, having a very particular taste in style, enabled us to explore vastly different finishes. Old school parquet flooring contrasted modern tiles and a cemcrete flooring. Take a step back in time as you walk into the retro design guest-loo. Vast open high volumes, with modern windows and concrete beams were softened with exposed timber trusses. Finally, we had to keep to the Waterfall architectural guidelines on the external design. This was achieved with magnificent timber screens and pergolas. 

Major contributors

Getting the right suppliers and contractors was key to the success of this project. This was only achieved through use of suppliers we trusted. Eurofit Kitchens were contracted in to provide the modern kitchen, the timeless built in cupboards, and the purpose built vanities. Able Gates provided the numerous timber screens, pergolas, external balustrade and the garage door. The swimming pool was supplied and installed effortlessly by Splendid Pools. The numerous light fittings which were unique to our client’s tastes were sourced and supplied by Lighting Logistics . Another contractor who provided numerous finishes was RLWA. They provided the Aluminum windows and doors, the timber doors, as well as the deck around the pool. Additionally, Steel Studio provided the staircase and internal balustrade. And finally, Tsamach Distributers managed to grasp the client’s style in the tile layout, and sanitary ware supply.
