Functionality meets space. A home designed around the view of the beautiful Waterfall gatehouse and lake just below. With natural light streaming in from all around. Every area of the home compliments the clients taste, making the space not only functional and perfect for family living, but perfect for showing off design, space and culture.
The entrance hall overlooks a magnificent water feature, with the pool and Waterfall view framing the view. Off to the one side is a guest wing, with mud room, and to the other, a passage leading to the open plan lounge, kitchen, dining, bar and study. The study has pocket doors for privacy. The first floor boasts 3 very large bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and walk in closets. The rooms open up to the magnificent views of the Waterfall estate.
This Waterfall house is an entertainers dream. A closed in patio links with the bar. Both can be opened up to the multiple layered external decks. At the first deck, a perfect spot to relax under an umbrella, sipping on a cocktail freshly served from the bar. The second deck wraps around the pool, which is large enough for any sized party. Finally, the boma patio with seating facing the magnificent Waterfall estate greenbelt, whilst the fire keeps you warm on the chilly winters’ evening.
The home was designed by architect Louise Osborn of LouiseO Architects. To compliment the design, Kitchen Studio fashioned the modern Waterfall kitchen, Lighting Logistics provided the lighting design and supply, and Classic Trading supplied the perfect bathroom sanitary ware and taps.
Externally, the swimming pool was supplied and commissioned by Splendid Pools, Bronwen Tuck from Garden Mechanix provided the landscape to match the client’s particular taste, and Marula Projects supplied and installed all the stone work.
